Sherlock Holmes

Maybe you thought so, but no! It's not only music here. Mainly become I'm stucked ^^

So anyway, I need to share a really great series with you guys!!

If you know Sherlock Holmes already, I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with this one. It's a new modern version of these classic brilliant stories about Sherlock Holmes. and I tell you, it's actually really well made, and does not at all seem wrong. Yes, I'm very much into Sherlock Holmes, and I was like, "eh, a NEW MODERN Sherlock Holmes? Seriously! They can't mean this" - but they DID mean it, and oh gosh, it's really really good!!

If you are interested in mystic, and riddles. This is the one. Well, I'm normally not into Krimi, but this one just do it for me!
So, to watch this series you don't need to be into crimes, there is SO much other quality in this series. Really. Humor, a lot of it. Excitement. and totally brilliant characters. Crazy personalities!
Watson and Holmes - I tell you, GOSH it's the BEST!

This is a totally new series, with such CRAZY great details. Nice cutting, nice effects. And this little small thing which makes my editer heart go CRAZY! Everytime someone gets a text, or they are seaching on the internet, it is written in the site ON the film, what is standing in the text or where they are clicking on the internet, all while the movie goes on and they still talk. I tell you, this is THE BEST!!!
Ah, I'm babling, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

Skillet

Ever heard of them?
I'm not really sure what to say of Skillet's music, but all in all, I think you will call it pretty pure normal rock music! They have tried some different ways on their way, with 8 albums!
You can say they come around hard rock, metal, symphonic rock and some alternativ rock.
Skillet have been going on since 1996 and have now sold around 1.6 million albums worldwide.
Their music isn't as unique, and as told a pretty normal sense of rock (according to me). Though they have been experimented and in some songs can you say that the lead singer John Cooper kind of is rapping. And well, yes, that was one of those songs which made me fall in love with them. (I really like when you mix music genres).
Even though their music isn't something new and not seen before, they still have something special and kind of pulls in you.
Special about them is the members in the band, 'cause John Cooper (lead vocalist, bassist) and Korey Cooper (rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist) are actually a marrige couple.. I just say - thats not often you see something like that. And as a special touch, they have both tattooed wedding rings on their fingers.

Their music is called Christian Rock, as well, not that is my favourite thing, but it doesn't really effect the music much!
Well, this is music in a very good quality, and if you like bands like Linkin Park, Three days grace and Breaking Benjamin you will probably like Skillet.

Apocalyptica

Apocalyptica are really something special.
It's a Finnish symphonic metal band!
They are very very talented and it is something I will very warmly recommend!
Their music is amazing to listen to, and it can as well be very calming.
Something very special about them is when they get featuring/guest artists into their songs. The band do only consist of 3 cellists who have been in the band from the beginning in 1993, and then one drummer who joined them in 2003. So they do not have any vocalist. But on a lot songs they have featured/guest vocalists. And I can only try to explain how amazing and unique this is. The very talented vocalists and then this symphonic band! It sounds wonderful!
The band have released 9 albums, the first one in 1996.
I will warmly tell you to check this band out. Please give them a change even though it might not sounds like something for you!!

Escape The Fate

First of all I will just say that I do not like this band :)
But, if you like Black Veil Brides, then you might maybe like Escape The Fate!

The music is as well kind of metal-rock and might be screamo..
The band is a american band and have existed since 2004. In 2008 they changed their lead singer, and as it seems to me, their music after have been much better, than the music they had before they changed the singer! So i will recommend you to check out their music made after 2008.
Their music might be a little like Black Veil Brides, though, if you wonna know my opinion it's much more mainstream and the texts are more mainstream as well. They are not my taste of music, but I have heard if you like Black Veil Brides, you might like these as well.
The members in Escape the Fate do as well know the members from Black Veil Brides, it's like a whole family over there!

Chris Linke

This boy you especially have to check out!
He is a very wonderful boy.
Well, the histroy for him (in my view). He was a part of a band which still mean a lot to me. The band is German and is called "Panik". They sang/sing in German, it is a mix of Hip Hop and rock! It is very special and the band consist of a singer, a rapper, a guitarist, a DJ, a drummer and a bassist. The 11th November 2009 the band announced that they were breaking up... I might later tell about this band and the story, but now this is only about Linke ;)
So, Linke (as he is called) is a fromer member of the band Panik. Before they split up he already made his own songs. He moved to LA, and are now living in LA, to try to make succes there. And it is surprising already going very fast. Linke's songs have already been playing in some radios, been high on the LA charts and the 28th June he will play his first live show, solo and acoustic.
His music is very calm, and a kind of alternative pop-acoustic music. He makes all the songs himself and also plays all the instruments.
I will so much recommend you to look at him and his music! - I want him all the succes possible and you should so much check him out ;)

Black Veil Brides

It's very interesting.
Yes, it is a bit mainstream, and no, they haven't really made anything new, but still - there might be something with them!
They do so remind me of a band very dear to me, AFI - .. Not that they are anywhere near being as good as them, but they do make me think of them.
I might say, when listen to some of their songs, I get the feeling that I have heard them before.. which will never be a good thing. But they have made some songs that might be very interesting to some of you.
I will most of all recommend the song "Knives and Pens" Which have a very nice musicvideo as well.

Yeah, the band have had a lot of problems and have probably kicked a lot of members out a lot of times. No matter what have happened, the singer, Andy Six, is the only one who has been there from the beginning. He is as well a very interesting topic if you are very interested in looks, huh xD Yeah I will say, his look is very interesting to me xD
Right now the band is put together with a lot of people, which are in each their place! - But it might be a very interesting mix. No, they are not be totally talented, not all of them anyway... but some of the members are actually very good. Especially the female drummer, very interesting, and I'm sure something great could happen with her, if she wants ;) The two guitarists are as well very nice. And especially some of the solos they make in a few of the songs, which are some of the best parts in the songs. Check especially the song "Perfect Weapon" out!
Their debut album will be released the 20th July 2010.
